Engage forward into Over Under Control to prevent an opponent's punch. Use the basic principles of Jiu-Jitsu to throw the opponent down. Always deflect the strike by meeting it with equal or greater force to ensure that a glancing blow doesn't make its way through. Once in close, it will be much harder for your opponent to be able to generate enough power to render you unconscious with a punch. React fast to absorb as little damage as possible, and initiate the throwing technique.
