Control the opponent's sternum to prevent him from sitting up and finding attacks. Press at the hip to create leverage, step up on the same side you control, and stretch the leg back to break open his guard. Stack him by shouldering his leg, grabbing onto the far collar to anchor yourself, and forcing your weight on top. Grab behind his pants and rotate around to finish the pass. This particular pass is a signature of Fabio Gurgel's game, so pay close attention to every detail he shares.
