When your opponent reveals his preoccupation with making grips, take advantage of his narrowed view by quickly switching levels and penetrating your shoulder into his hips for the Double Leg Takedown. You can proactively lull him into concentrating on the hand-fight by distracting him with a display of urgency in finding your grips as well, or you may notice an opening for the shot if his posture is too upright. Regardless of the set-up, the Double Leg is an invaluable tool in your takedown arsenal and should be practiced diligently.
