If an adversary attacks you from behind, wrapping his arm across your throat, immediately drop into base and grab onto his arm to prevent any choking pressure. If you feel like you're getting pulled backward, place your foot behind his ankle, stepping about-face, and throw him down to the ground by bending over with his arm in a modified O-Soto-Gari.
