As demonstrated in the previous lesson, your opponent's arm is susceptible to attack when he leaves it laying across your shoulder in Side Control. Travel to the North/South position, locking his arm with an overhook, and drive him up onto his shoulder for a potential Armlock. If he notices that his elbow is exposed and in danger of hyperextension, he may try to retract his arm and hide his hand. When this happens, interlace your arms around his in a figure-four keylock pattern, and maintain a 90° bend in his arm as you crank for the Kimura submission.
